Loss and grief are among the most universal of human experiences, and yet when it happens to us, we often feel like we’re all alone.
Loss can be experienced in many ways: the death of a loved one or beloved pet, divorce, job loss, aging, empty nest…the list goes on and on.
This class will discuss cultural influences surrounding grief, walk you through the stages of grief, tell you what to expect during this process, and give you the support to sustain you during this difficult time. Being in community with people who are also experiencing loss can feel very nurturing and healing, so there will be time for sharing and discussion.
